Admissions Requirements
Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a junior/senior GPA of at least 3.0. Exceptions may be made if you have a special background, abilities, and interests.
Students whose GPA is below 3.0 but is at least 2.5 are required to take the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE). If GRE scores are required, they must be submitted before the application will be considered. A combined score of at least 850 is required for the verbal and quantitative subtests.
The GRE is administered by the Educational Testing Service. For dates, locations, and other information about the test, please call the Student Assistance Center at Penn State Harrisburg (717-948-6025) or contact the Educational Testing Service at http://www.gre.org/.
Applying to Penn State

How to Apply – Degree Admission
Students are required to submit the following:

- A completed application with the fee;
- Two copies of official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended;
- A brief career/goal statement.
