Penn State Hazleton Welcomes Adult Learners
Are you an Adult Learner?
An adult learner is:
- 24 years of age or older
- a veteran of the armed services
- returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity
- a person who assumes multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, employee and student.
Adult learners may start taking courses one at a time, part time (less than 12 credits per semster) or full time (more than 12 credits per semester).
Penn State delivers hundreds of degrees, certificates, and courses all across Pennsylvania to help adults progress in their careers, change careers, or strengthen their industry skills and competencies. For more information, visit the Adult Learner Enrollment Services website.
